POST FALLS — The Post Falls Police Department has filed a criminal complaint against 71-year-old Barry E. Morgan for multiple counts of production and possession of child pornography.

Morgan, a retired aerospace engineer who resides in Post Falls, was arrested in September for two counts of lewd conduct with a minor. As part of that investigation, a search warrant was conducted at his residence and numerous digital devices were seized.

Police say a forensic examination of these digital devices uncovered evidence that Morgan has produced child pornography at his Post Falls home.

The victims have been identified by police and Morgan surrendered himself to law enforcement personnel on these allegations on Friday, Nov. 2.

Morgan is being held at the Kootenai County Jail on $250,000 bond. This matter remains under active investigation and anyone with information is urged to call Detective Neil Uhrig at 208-777-7140.
