Mary Louise Rash Searles, 87

Mary Louise Rash Searles, 87, passed away at her home on Oct. 30, 2018. Mary was born to James and Hattie Wall on July 20, 1931, in Raton, N.M.

Mary was a devout Christian, loving housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mary enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and going for rides in the mountains. She also liked playing the guitar, singing on the radio when she was 15 and listening to C&W music.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Edward D. Rash Sr.; three sisters and two brothers.

Mary is survived by brother, Robert Wall; son, David (Barb) Rash; daughters, Terrie Howry, Grace Miller, Corrine (Mark) Allen, Sandy (Allen) McGrath and Angela Rash; stepdaughter, Joyce Peterson; 17 grandkids; 42 great-grandkids; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service held in Mary’s honor on at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at her home.
