John M. Ross

(1957 - 2018)

John was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on July 21, 1957, and passed away at his home in Springfield, Ore., on Oct. 20, 2018.

John grew up in Harrison, Idaho. He graduated from Kootenai Junior-Senior High in 1976. He wrestled and played football in high school. After graduation John moved to Oregon.

John was a CNC machinist by trade and had many talents. He enjoyed motocross, Nascar, 4-wheeling, fishing and the company of women. He was a master at storytelling.

John is survived by his daughter, Rikki Ross; granddaughter, Anna; mother, Barbara Ross Hayden; and sisters, Deb Bonneau, Dalene Roberge, Renee Personne and Deanna Chapin. He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar Newton Ross and son, Jason.

A celebration of life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Nov. 17, 2018, at the Junction City Moose Lodge, 427 Front St., Junction City, Oregon.
