A new facility for North Idaho Eye Institute is under construction at 8378 N. Government Way in Hayden.
The 7,000-square-foot office-clinic will include 11 exam rooms, a Lasik room, a visual field testing room, staff office and support areas. It will be completed next year. Architect is Hayden-based Longwell-Trapp and general contractor is Meridian Construction & Development of Spokane Valley.

Lovely Chaos opens on Fourth Street
Stylish goods for your home and person are emphasized at Lovely Chaos that just opened at 806 Fourth St. It is a sister store to Junk on Fourth Street (across the street).

The Spice & Tea Exchange opens in Riverstone
With a wide selection of seasonings for any food lover and dozens of choices for a tea enthusiast, The Spice & Tea Exchange will open Thursday at 2061 Main St. in Riverstone.
It offers more than 140 spices, over 80 exclusive hand-mixed blends, 16 naturally flavored sugars, an array of salts and more than 30 exotic teas.
“Visitors are immediately immersed in a sensory experience where they can explore, open the jars and smell and speak with knowledgeable staff who truly love what they do,” said Judy McAfee, owner with husband Bill and daughter and son-in-law Annie and JT Wensman. “We hand-mix our custom blends and seasonings, bag our teas and put together unique gifts.”

Fabrica Vida opens on ‘low’ Sherman
An eclectic variety of clothing, jewelry, bags, accessories and home decor is offered at Fabrica Vida opening 11 a.m. Friday at 414B Sherman. Located between Super Silver and Lucky Monkey, it is nestled downstairs sharing the foyer with Super Silver Jewelry.
The store includes a studio to create hand-sewn embroidered and embellished jackets and clothing using a combination of recycled fabrics, vintage and jackets and a mix of eclectic and worldly textiles for a unique piece of clothing.

- Idaho Central Credit Union is under construction on West Appleway near Winco.
- A new place downtown soon will be Live For Blu fine art at 505 E. Sherman.
