ADDIS: Ideal for job

| November 2, 2018 1:00 AM

I am writing this letter because in the 25 years I have known Jim Addis, he has always been committed, enthusiastic and passionate about our community. Over the years, our paths crossed frequently in our community efforts in support of K-12 education.

As a community business leader, Jim believes that a quality education is the key to preparing students to succeed in tomorrow’s workforce. To that end, Jim served on the boards of The EXCEL Foundation, Boys & Girls Club and levy campaigns to ensure that all students have access to a quality education.

As a parent, Jim believes all parents and students should have a choice in learning environments, hence, he supports magnet, charter and career technical schools. Jim without question, supports the classroom teacher. As our representative, he will work tirelessly for more resources to hire, train and maintain the best teachers possible in our state.

As our District 4-Seat A Representative, Jim Addis will work collaboratively at the state level, as he has at the local level, to ensure that North Idaho students have access to a quality education no matter what their background. Please join me in voting for Jim Addis on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
