ADDIS: For state House

| November 2, 2018 1:00 AM

I strongly encourage your vote for Jim Addis for Idaho House Seat 4A.

Whether you agree with him or not, there is no doubt that Jim is thoughtful and considerate, and he diligently researches the issues. Jim Addis is also willing to listen to and consider opposing viewpoints. Contrast this approach with his opponent, who has become well-known for screaming at political opponents, while admitting in the Kootenai County Voter’s Guide: “I have no idea where my opponent stands on any of the important issues facing Idaho.” Elsewhere, she acknowledged she was “the most catastrophic failure” as an advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation. Her own words are telling and troubling.

In a political climate that is marked with incivility, hostility, disrespect and showmanship over effectiveness, I ask Coeur d’Alene voters to choose a better path. Jim Addis has worked with the EXCEL Foundation to improve education in our community. Jim has created jobs, and in his time at the Idaho Auto Dealers Association, he actually moved legislation through the Legislature and got it passed into law. Jim has a track record of working with people of diverse backgrounds, building trust and relationships, and getting things done.

Jim Addis listens, he is respectful, and he is effective. The choice is clear for District 4 — Vote for Jim Addis.
