CARTOON: No laughing matter

The political cartoon by Mike Shelton on March 11 was stupid and disgusting, and not funny for patriots who believe in America. The depictions of the president of our United States and the North Korean leader are despicable to say the least.

Perhaps our president is dressed in soldier’s gear to fend off the nuclear warheads that the communist leader has pointed at our cities, but which are not pictured in this cartoon. Or perhaps the president is carrying a rifle to protect the rights of our citizens from ideologies like those of North Korea and Kim Jong Un which have no rights for their citizens. I don’t think this is what the “artist” had in mind.

Finally we have a president who is protecting our country and making us stronger, but the media can only continue to make attempts to ridicule him.
