TRANSIT: Center of attention

| March 11, 2018 12:00 AM

It’s hard to believe that the city plans to go ahead with a transit center and offices for city personnel at a prime location, especially when a waterfront park is in the works for the Atlas Mill property. Wouldn’t it be more reasonable to combine a public parking structure with the transit center? How about adding a gym or community center on the top that has a view of the river?

The mayor says he’s happy because the city has a say in how it’s built. Seriously? Of course you would have a say in something like that.
