ALZHEIMER'S: Dates to note

Summer is here again, which means the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is upon us. This year the walk will be held on Sept. 29 at Riverstone Park in Coeur d’Alene. Starting on June 3, I will be set up at the Hayden Walmart to receive donations on Sundays. If you are in the area, come say hi and if at all possible, put a donation in the bucket.

As you read this letter, there is no cure. The end is clear and frightening. Again, this is not an old person’s disease anymore. People from 30 years of age on up can get dementia. We must find a cure. Walmart has been top notch in helping me get set up. Please tell them thank you for allowing this opportunity to fight Alzheimer’s. I have already received several donations from the good people of Coeur d’Alene. Every dime will help us find a cure.
