Check info on Skyward by Aug. 24

COEUR d’ALENE — Parents of students in the Coeur d’Alene School District are requested to log into Skyward between July 16 through Aug. 24 to complete the online verification process, said district spokesman Scott Maben.

The annual process of online verification is “a huge help to us at the district level, and to each school,” said Maben. “The process reduces paperwork and provides teachers with the most current contact information available for students and helps school administrators plan classroom assignments for the upcoming school year,” explained the district website.

Maben said the online verification process simply requires each family to check all of their contact information and make any needed updates on Skyward.

“All of our family communications, whether district-wide, by school or by class, are based on the information people input in Skyward. This includes emergency notifications as well as routine school news,” he said.

If district patrons have questions or problems using Skyward, each school has someone designated to handle such questions over the summer, Maben said. To find that person, look at the home page of the student’s school website, and scroll down to the online verification information.
