Missoula Children's Theatre presents 'The Pied Piper' with local youth cast

What do you do when your town is overrun by ravenous rats? You call the Pied Piper! Take a trip to Hamelin Town on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, with the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students as they perform an original musical adaptation of the classic tale, The Pied Piper.

The local cast features students in the roles of the Pied Piper, Sara, the Mayor’s kids, the Mayor’s council, the Hamelin Administrative Team, barbers, cooks, the townskids of Hamelin and the troublesome rats.

The Pied Piper will be presented at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Prairie Avenue Community Church, 3639 W. Prairie Ave in Hayden.

Tickets are $5 and are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, July 30 to Aug. 10, at Hayden City Hall, 8930 N. Government Way.

Tickets may also be purchased from 9:45 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from Aug. 6 to 10, at the Prairie Avenue Community Church, and at the door on the Aug. 11 performance date.
