Ronald ‘Tiny’ Wilson, 80

Ronald “Tiny” Wilson, 80, returned to his heavenly home on July 11, 2018, to be with his Lord and Savior. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God and Country supported him and ultimately gave him peace.

Tiny was born to the late George and Agnes Wilson in Spokane, Wash. He was raised in Harrison, Idaho, then later moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where he resided for the rest of his life.

Tiny worked for Pepsi Cola, working his way up the ranks until ultimately becoming a co-owner. He was with Pepsi for 35 years. After his retirement from Pepsi, along with two other partners, they purchased the 11th Street Marina, where Tiny worked for the past 20 years. He cherished the time he spent at the Marina. He had many people there that he considered loyal friends. Tiny was the epitome of strength; he worked at the marina until the very end.

He was involved with jail ministry through the church. He brought many people to the Lord and touched many lives. He loved to fly fish on the Coeur d’Alene River, his many dogs and cats, and the beautiful flowers at his home.

Tiny and his wife, Linda, were married for 27 years. They were blessed with a large and loving family. Between the two of them they have seven children, many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Tiny adored the many animals he and Linda had over the years. He considered them to be “his kids.” Not only did Tiny and Linda open their home to numerous rescue animals, but they always had an open door for anyone in need. Holidays were always extra special with family, extended family, friends and often times, new friends.

Tiny is survived by his wife, Linda; his sons, Mark and Ryan Wilson; his stepchildren, Laurie Neubauer, Jeff Cope, Corina Milligan, Dawnneke Tappa and Nicole Goodsen. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Vivian Palmer and Beverly Roberts and his parents, George and Agnes Wilson.

He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.
