KinCare Day celebration Friday in Coeur d'Alene

| July 18, 2018 1:00 AM

Idaho KinCare Day is Friday, July 20, with celebrations planned throughout the state.

The Coeur d’Alene event will be at 9 a.m. at Lake City Church, in the Merge Room, 6000 N. Ramsey Road.

The speaker will be former state senator Jim Hammond.

Idaho KinCare Day is a day to celebrate Relatives as Parents in Idaho and the difference that they make in children’s lives, in keeping families together, and in making Idaho stronger.

The public is invited to join the celebration honoring these families. Refreshments will be served.

KinCare serves more than 100 members in North Idaho, with two Relatives as Parents support groups: one in Rathdrum and one in Coeur d’Alene. These groups are chapters of Relatives as Parents, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Post Falls.
