Dr. Dustin Larsen joins North Idaho Dermatology
For Dustin Larsen, the newest dermatologist to join the team at North Idaho Dermatology in Coeur d’Alene, dedication to his patients is not just skin-deep.
“What I enjoy most about the field of dermatology is the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with my patients as we work to sort out difficult diagnoses, treat challenging diseases, or provide reassurance for any concerns,” he said.
Larsen graduated from Utah State University and then completed his medical training with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University. His education, combined with his dedication to the field, made him an ideal fit for North Idaho Dermatology.
“He comes from a fabulous residency program and it became apparent quickly that he was a competent and caring physician,” said Dr. Stephen Craig, who founded North Idaho Dermatology in 1999.
A father of four, Larsen looks forward to becoming part of the community and raising his family here, along with his wife, Melissa. His hobbies include hiking, camping, astronomy and reading; he hopes to learn how to fly fish soon.
Maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere is a top priority at North Idaho Dermatology, so it was important to choose a new doctor who fits with the practice’s culture. To that end, Larsen was the obvious choice.
Dr. Larsen will be a great asset to our community.
“Dr. Larsen is very intelligent and sincerely cares about the people who come to see him,” said Grant Ely, North Idaho Dermatology COO. “He represents qualities for which everyone at North Idaho Dermatology strives- the highest quality of care for our patients and helping our patients to feel at home and amongst family when they visit us.”
