John R. Gray

April 15, 1957 — May 14, 2018

John passed away tragically and unexpectedly with his family at his side on May 14, 2018, from a construction accident.

He was born and raised in Spokane, Wash. At 18 he started his drywall business, moving to Utah for 10 years. He returned to the Seattle, Wash., area to continue his business and raise his family. He loved to take his family camping and fishing, something they will love and cherish forever.

John is survived by Heidi, his children, Athena (Rob), Amber, Joey and Zane, and many adopted kids that Heidi brought home who John treated like his own. He is also survived by grandchildren Tyler, Sofie and Sabian; his father Tom (Sharon); three brothers, Mike, Jerry and Jim; and three sisters, Roseanne, Linda and Mariah; and many nieces and nephews.

John will be welcomed with open arms by all those who have passed before him, especially Jeremiah and Jock, who will be his forever fishing buddies.

We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. There will be a memorial service from 4 to 10 p.m. on July 29, 2018, at the Eagles 15th Street Pavilion, 1700 N. 15th St., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
