Learn about Muslim culture Tuesday evening

COEUR d’ALENE — Moina Shaiq is a Muslim and has been a resident of Fremont, Calif., for 35 years.

She is a mother of four and an active member of her community.

She is also on a mission to build bridges of love, respect, understanding and acceptance, one heart at a time.

Shaiq will be in Coeur d'Alene for the Meet A Muslim question-and-answer program Tuesday evening at Unity Spiritual Center of North Idaho. All are invited to meet her, find how she raised her children in America, hear why she started this program and what she is trying to achieve.

Meet a Muslim will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Unity Spiritual Center is located at 4465 N. 15th St., Coeur d'Alene.
