Mandatory odd/even schedule for Hayden Lake Irrigation District

HAYDEN LAKE — The Hayden Lake Irrigation District announced mandatory water restrictions effective June 28.

An odd/even water schedule will continue until further notice. One of the district’s wells is out of service, explained officials in the July district newsletter.

The district is not limiting customers’ use or changing the allocation of water, they said.

“The odd/even schedule will still allow our customers to maintain their landscaping, while still reducing the peak season demands on the water distribution system.”

The addition of a proposed new tower might make the odd/even schedule a thing of the past, they added.
