Ramsey Transfer Station to close temporarily

The Kootenai County Solid Waste Department announced that the Ramsey Transfer Station will be temporarily closed, for approximately two weeks, to all commercial and residential haulers due to floor repairs in the main transfer building.

The closure will start Monday, Jan. 29 and is expected to last through Sunday, Feb. 11.

All loads, except wood waste and recycling, bigger than a pickup load, will need to go to the Prairie Transfer Station. The Prairie Transfer Station is located at 15580 W. Prairie Avenue, Post Falls, Idaho. Gates are open 7 days per week, 8:00 am through 4:55 pm.
