The Bayside South condos are nearby Marina Town and offer more affordable new construction options near the lake.

It’s cold and snowy, but imagine just a few short months from now — sunny skies, warm temperatures and your own picturesque view of Lake Pend Oreille.

That’s the pitch for living in Marina Town, a highly sought-after neighborhood that sits along the shores of Lake Pend Oreille at the Dover Bay Waterfront Community. Just one luxurious condominium is available here, with construction set to be complete by the start of summer.

“It’s the heart of the community, right in the front, close to the trails and close to our Marina Village,” said Marie Garvey, director of sales and marketing for Dover Bay.

The single-level townhouse-style home is 1,528 square feet and includes three-bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open floor plan that highlights unique views of the lake and natural surroundings.

“There are lots of windows with bright light and southern exposures, and high ceilings in the kitchen, dining and living areas,” Garvey said.

The completed home includes a gas fireplace and top-of-the-line finishes, and buyers can still choose their own colors and finishes at this stage of construction. The home also boasts a two-car garage, outdoor patio with gas barbecue stub and access to a private courtyard and beach area.

The Marina Town condominium is being offered at $499,000.

As the name implies, Marina Town is just steps from Dover Bay’s Marina Village, which includes the newly expanded marina, market, seasonal full-service restaurant, year-round heated outdoor swimming pool and spa, fitness center, tennis courts and more. The neighborhood is also connected to more than 9 miles of walking trails and 9 acres of parks and beaches.

Across the street from Marina Town sits the Bayside South community, with three available condos also set to be ready by summer. The 1,380-square-foot condos include two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den, one-car garage and Dover Bay’s usual outstanding amenities. Some homes in the community have filtered views of Lake Pend Oreille, while others overlook Walson Wetland Park. Bayside South condominiums are priced at $339,000.

Another option currently under construction — Phase II of the Parkside Bungalows, with completed homes starting at $189,000.

Dover Bay is an unrivaled summer destination, but it’s also a luxurious vacation option for skiers. Located just 12 miles from Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Dover Bay offers bungalow and home rentals throughout the ski season. Dover Bay is also just 3 miles from Sandpoint and its appealing assortment of restaurants, shops and culture.

Marina Town, Bayside South and the Parkside Bungalows are just three of several neighborhoods inside the overall community, with homes and condominiums to fit all price points and lifestyles.
