Beverly's remains the only AAA Four Diamond restaurant in Idaho

Beverly’s restaurant in The Coeur d’Alene Resort is the sole Idaho food establishment to appear on AAA’s exclusive list of four- and five-diamond restaurants, announced AAA.

“Four Diamond restaurants provide distinctive fine dining that is creatively prepared and skillfully served (often by a wine steward) amid upscale ambience,” said AAA Idaho spokesman Matthew Conde,” in a news release. “Only 2 percent of AAA’s Inspected & Approved restaurants earn this prestigious rating, and for Beverly’s to receive it for almost 30 years is simply outstanding.”

Beverly’s has been rated a Four Diamond restaurant since 1989.

Just 665 restaurants qualified for the Four Diamond Award in 2018. Gem State travelers can find the closest Five Diamond restaurants in Nevada and Utah.

For more than 80 years, AAA has used professional inspectors to conduct in-person property evaluations of hotels and restaurants. Their findings are reported in AAA TourBooks, on AAA.com, and on the AAA mobile app. Inspectors are also adding more content than ever on social media. Unlike other rating systems with inconsistent standards, AAA provides objective information that travelers can count on.

“It’s important to remember that while Four and Five Diamond properties are the height of luxury, One, Two, and Three Diamond properties also offer a wide range of amenities at a great value,” Conde said. “Every establishment has to meet AAA’s core expectations of cleanliness and service before any consideration of additional amenities can lead to a higher rating.”
