GOP: On road to… you know

| February 7, 2018 12:00 AM

The recent Republican train wreck is a metaphor for the actual train wreck that occurred when the party won an election that doesn’t like government and doesn’t know how to govern.

I just finished reading “Fire and Fury” by Michael Wolff that describes even more eloquently than I can the mess that has been the Trump presidency. This should be required reading for anyone interested in learning how not to govern a country.

Trump released the Nunes memo. This is a memo that the FBI has stated contains so many inaccuracies and selected facts that renders it highly inaccurate and is also characterized as a threat to national security due to the release of information that should be classified.

Nunes and the House Intelligence (?) Committee are continuing the Republican and Trump Obstruction of Justice into the possibility that the Trump Campaign colluded with the Russians to give Trump the 2016 election victory. Hey. Republicans, why don’t you let the Mueller FBI investigation take its course and then you can criticize it? And why don’t you declassify the Democrat minority memo of the House Intelligence (?) Committee that rebuts the Nunes memo? And when are you going to allow the release of the underlying documents that tell the whole story and not just the cherry-picked version of the story? As far as I’m concerned, all of the Republicans are obstructing Justice. Nunes, especially, should be impeached along with Trump. The truth will eventually come out and impeachment justice will occur.
