HYPERBOLE: Tone it down

Rebuttal to Ron Dayton’s hyperbole:

No. 1: Governor Huckabee commuted an unusually harsh sentence for a 16-year-old black teen for theft and robbery of 108 years to 47 years, which made him eligible for parole. He later committed the murders in Tacoma. If the teen had not been poor and black, he would not have received that harsh sentence. The change of sentence was the right thing to do.

No. 2: Sarah Sanders is not a witch.

No. 3: The Republicans have not caused all the problems we are dealing with today.

No. 4: If the Democrats don’t win back both houses, you will not leave this country and never return.

Note to everyone: Please tone down the divisive rhetoric: discuss issues; don’t attack people; minimize tribalism. Let’s just solve problems together.
