VOTER: Not for this judge

Judge Payne from Benewah who presides in the Kootenai County Courthouse once a week is incompetent and unfair, and justice was not served by him.

I am a 71-year-old man who was assaulted by a man in his mid-20s. He broke my nose, knocked out some teeth, and Judge Payne dismissed the battery charge against him without ever having me appear in court. Now I am faced with huge hospital bills.

Judge Payne should not be re-elected.
