George and Karen Wells
60th Anniversary
George and Karen met at their same place of employment in Buffalo, N.Y., in August 1957. One year later on Aug. 9, 1958, they were married at Saint Cecilia Church in Sheldon, N.Y.
After many years of work related moves, they settled and retired in Hayden. They are grandparents to one and great-grandparents to four.
In recognition of their 60th anniversary, their son, George and daughter-in-law Laura, will be celebrating with them at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
Tom and Carol Jean Price
60th Anniversary
Tom and Carol Jean Price are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 9, 2018.
They were raised in Scrantion, Pa., and married in 1958 at Puritan Congregational Church in Scranton. They moved out west in 1963 and settled in Coeur d’Alene.
They have two sons, Kevin and Gary. Gary and his wife, Charlene, have given them five wonderful grandchildren: Ksanka, Zara, Mica, Noah and Riley. Grandson-in-law Dan, joined our family, and in 2015 a great-granddaughter, Ellery, arrived.
Tom and Carol thank the members of Trinity Lutheran Church for allowing them to gather with family, friends, and friends of the church after services. They thank Kevin for calling the church and having this special day arranged for them. Kevin, Gary and Charlene hosted this event.
They would like to thank all who came to join them in this celebration. A special thank you to Connie Gridley and her committee for helping them have wonderful memories of this special day.
Frank and Julie Manning
40th Anniversary
Frank and Julie Manning are celebrating their 40th anniversary today, Aug. 5, 2018. They were married on Aug. 5, 1978.
Frank and Julie met in 1976 in Coeur d’Alene.
Frank is a retired Union Iron Worker and Julie is retired from GTE (General Telephone Company).
When they met in 1976, Julie had three children from a previous marriage and Frank had two. So they became the Crazy Bunch!
How they made it this long? They lived by Frank’s words of wisdom, “They will all move out someday, Julie!”

MILESTONE BIRTHDAY
Delores Huseby
90th Birthday
Delores Huseby (Waldo) celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at The Grove senior living center in Coeur d’Alene.
Delores was born and raised in North Idaho. She was a World War II worker at Farragut Naval Base, proud VFW Auxillary member, Eagles member and member of several disabled veteran groups. She was a cosmetologist until she was in her 70s.
Dee is a favorite auntie, momma, grandma, great-grandma and GREAT-GREAT-Grandma!
