LESSONS: Positively better

| August 5, 2018 1:00 AM

It’s never OK to enter or exit a room with your middle finger extended! (That just shows your intelligence; ONE!) Grow up and find a nicer way to let people know your opinion. If you can’t or don’t want to, keep them to yourself.

I know some people aren’t lovable because I’m one of them. But just think of how you can change someone’s thoughts or attitude with a smile, a pat on the back or just an encouraging word. This old world needs it, so let’s start today!

On another note:

What a blessing it was to read Chris Carlson’s column in the Coeur d’Alene Press last Monday. It is so good to read positive things instead of negative stuff. There’s too much bad thinking in this old world and it leads to bad stuff.

So, people, clean up your thoughts before you write them and treat people how you’d like to be treated. Try it — you won’t be sorry.
