Correction

Northern Lakes Fire Department spokesman Jim Lyon was misquoted in Tuesday’s Press. Lyon said fires on Monday were “centered at the airport and went out to about a five-mile radius to the east, north and west.” The airport fire was “brought under control within a couple hours but many took several hours throughout the area.” The agency of the injured firefighter was misidentified. The firefighter who was slightly injured is with Kootenai County Fire and Rescue.
