Eliza Fortunata Pabo Santos, 72

Eliza Santos, 72, passed away suddenly at home Sept. 17, 2017. Born in the Philippines on Oct. 24, 1944, she lived in Kauai, Hawaii, from 1946 to 1962. Following high school graduation, she moved to California to attend Los Angeles City College. In 1991, as a former resident of West Covina, Calif., she moved with her husband and three children to Post Falls, and then to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She lived a very happy life in Idaho for the past 26 years.

Eliza was an excellent bookkeeper, employed by various companies until her retirement in 2009.

She was lovingly admired for being a devoted wife, a passionate mother, an inspiring grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a caring daughter, sister and friend. Eliza is now in paradise with her first-born, Roberto Jr., who passed away at age 4 in 1969, and her father, Irineo Pabo, who passed away in 1996. She will be intensely missed by all who adored and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Roberto Santos; her mother, Josefina Pabo; her sisters, Amelia Lane and Betty Gundram (Ted); her children Myles Santos (Karla), Myron Santos and Marissa Davenport (Chad); her six grandchildren, Tori, Braden, Sam, Dominic, Tyler and Malyna; 1 great-grandchild, Isabella; three nephews and several cousins.

Public viewing and Rosary will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, at St. George Catholic Church in Post Falls. Mass/Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, at St. George Catholic Church. Burial and reception to follow.
