Vera LaVern (Heath) Wylie, 85
Vera LaVern (Heath) Wylie, 85, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away Sept. 18, 2017, at the Hospice House of North Idaho, in Hayden, with her family by her side.
Vera was born Sept. 10, 1932, on Clover Creek Ranch in King Hill, Idaho. She was the seventh of 14 children of Sylvia and Edwin Heath.
On Feb. 25, 1952, Vera married Samuel Jasper Wylie, in Elko, Nev., and recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They raised four children: Rhonda Kays, Janet Wylie, S. Calvin Wylie (deceased), and Sandra Foster.
Vera loved her family and enjoyed time with them at their family campground at Lake Pend Oreille. She attended the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Mont., where pottery became her passion and continued throughout her life.
Vera is survived by husband Samuel Jasper Wylie; daughter, Rhonda Kays (Warren), and their daughter, Amanda Murillo (Oscar), with three great-grandchildren; daughter, Janet Carbery (Patrick), her boys, Justin Johnson (Dahlia), with three great-grandchildren, Sean Carbery (Holly) with one great-grandchild, Jim Woods (Kristi) with one great-grandchild and Kyle Carbery; son, S. Calvin Wylie (deceased), and his kids, Calvin Jr. Wylie (Angie) with five great-grandchildren, Jennifer Albin (William), with four great-grandchildren, Jordan and Wylie (Britany), with two great-grandchildren; daughter, Sandra Foster (Dan) and her daughters, Ashley Daily, with one great-grandchild and Jesse Weaver (Trace).
Vera was preceded in death by her son, S. Calvin Wylie; and two grandchildren, Christine Kays and Eric Wylie.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, Sept. 30 at 3 p.m. at English Funeral Chapel 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, ID, 83854.
