Patricia Edna Greenbank Nagle Weeks, 80

January 18, 1937 to September 24, 2017

“To live is Christ, to die is gain.”

Pat was born on Jan. 18, 1937, in Gary, Ind., to Alfred Tennyson Greenbank and Ruby Christella McClain, with older sister, Ellen. The family soon moved to Canton, Ill., where the parents supported and encouraged the two sisters who were always very close. Ellen’s voice was exceptional and Pat’s piano playing extraordinary.

Pat’s passion and dedication to music continued for a lifetime. She graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., with a Bachelor of Music degree and high academic honors. She performed professionally and was fulfilled in teaching music for 65 years, mostly from her home in Post Falls, Idaho, but also in England, Italy, and several states.

She enjoyed the fellowship and service within the Spokane Music Teachers Association and the North Idaho Music Teachers Association for 45 years. She loved her students and delighted in inspiring and educating them in the halls of Classical Music.

Pat was an authentic Christian where Christ-like qualities of unconditional love, sensitivity, compassion, and generosity filled her heart and overflowed to her family and her community. There is no replacing the gem of a human being who deeply loved and ministered to her grateful husband, Elton Weeks; daughters, Cindi (Mark), Val (Craig), Teresa (Kevin); and son, Brian (Brook); 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Mountain View Bible Church, Post Falls, Idaho.

English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements. Please visit Pat’s online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
