Pac-12 football ref Hudson to

speak at NIC booster luncheon

COEUR d’ALENE — Steve Hudson, the owner of Hudson’s Hamburgers — an Idaho landmark — will be the guest speaker at the NIC Booster Club luncheon on Tuesday at noon at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.

Hudson has officiated football in the Pac-10/12 for 21 years, and has worked 18 bowl games including this past year’s Fiesta Bowl (national semifinal) between Clemson and Ohio State. Prior to his tenure in the Pac-10/12 he worked in the Big Sky Conference. Hudson is a member of the North Idaho Officials Association Hall of Fame and is a current nominee for the Idaho High School Activities Association Hall of Fame.

Hudson currently gives back to high school officiating as a mentor for District 1 football. In addition, he and his family have been supporters of North Idaho College and NIC sthletics for many years.

The public is welcome to attend the luncheon.
