Jordan's Grocery robbery suspect arrested

A 20-year-old from Coeur d’Alene was arrested overnight on suspicion of Wednesday’s armed robbery of Jordan’s Grocery on 15th Street.

Coeur d’Alene Police Department detectives were able to quickly identify and arrest Christopher N. Guinasso based on tips provided by citizens who recognized him from surveillance images, said Detective Jared Reneau, in a news release sent out early Friday.

“We would like to thank all of the citizens who provided information related to this investigation,” Reneau said.

Guinasso was booked into Kootenai County Jail for one count of robbery.
