Arts for Humanity to hold hurricane relief fundraiser
UPDATE: The date of this event has been changed to Sept. 26
Lake City High School arts program students will use their talents to raise funds for hurricane relief.
Students will be accepting donations on Sept. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the school, 6101 Ramsey Road.
All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund earmarked for Hurricane Harvey and Irma victims.
Community members are invited to attend the fundraiser and enjoy culinary art, visual art and vocal, instrumental and theatrical performances. Art will be available for purchase. The T-Wolf beverage cart will be selling drinks. A number of performance artists will be sharing their talents in the auditorium.
“Here at Lake City we believe in taking care of our neighbors, even our neighbors who are in Texas or Florida or the islands off the U.S. coast.” said a news release. “Our students are excited to be a part of giving back. So please come help us represent Idaho youth in giving.”
