RELIEF: Rednecks in bass boats

| September 17, 2017 1:00 AM

In the wake of the deadly hurricane that devastated huge areas of Texas, much of it in the Houston area, America has witnessed the truth about itself when it comes to diversity and genuine caring.

FEMA is doing its job (notice the lack of whining by the alphabet media). Thousands of Americans from around this country have flocked to the affected areas with tractor trailers, boats, food, water, diapers, blankets, everything that is needed to rescue and rebuild the broken lives of those affected; direct, immediate neighborly help that the federal government simply cannot provide.

A simple INTERNET search will show a majority of the relief is coming from “Christian” organizations. “Samaritans Purse” and “Mercury One” are just two…Red Cross and others, “recognized, non-religious” organizations, are also doing their part. The fact is, there are literally hundreds of churches and U.N.-named individuals who are doing what Jesus himself proclaimed, “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.”

Good old boys in their bass boats, who listen to country music and drink beer on Saturday night, then go to church on Sunday morning, are giving their very best and rescuing anyone who needs rescuing regardless of color, creed or sexual orientation.

Has anyone seen a single member of “Code Pink,” “Antifa,” “Black Lives Matter,” “Rainbow Co-a-lition” — any “celebrate diversity” organizations — lift a finger or offer a single dollar?
