Post Falls goes 4-2

at Yakima tourney

YAKIMA, Wash. — Post Falls won four of six matches and finished second in the Silver Bracket, 10th overall, at the Sunfair Invitational on Saturday.

Allison Munday had 57 kills, seven blocks and 10 aces on the day for Post Falls (14-6). Mackenzie Morris added 31 kills and 53 digs, Kayla Mayo 81 assists and 11 aces, Megan Wood and Sydney Parks seven blocks each.

“This was a good tournament for us, despite having the bus break down on the way home,” Post Falls coach Matt Barkley said. “We were down a couple of players and still played really well. We beat a scrappy team from White River in 3 during the semifinals but had a hard time with Kings in the finals.”

Post Falls travels to University on Wednesday.
