Soroptimists seek nominations for Women of Distinction Awards

Soroptimist International of Coeur d'Alene is searching for the next ladies to honor as the 2017 Women of Distinction.

The Women of Distinction Awards recognize women whose achievements and dedication to community service set them apart. Nomination categories include: arts and culture, business and professional, community service, education, health, public service, seniors and community activist.

The 35th annual Women of Distinction Awards Ceremony will be held Nov. 17 at Cedars Floating Restaurant. Proceeds from the event help support local females through monetary awards and scholarships as well as contributions to local services such as Safe Passage.
