Drivers, get ready for more traffic trouble

| September 15, 2017 1:00 AM

Commuting on heavily traveled portions of Ramsey Road, Harrison Avenue and Fourth Street in Coeur d’Alene will be affected beginning 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, while city contractors work on utilities.

Motorists will experience temporary road closures with lane restrictions. Flaggers or detour routes will be provided.

“This may influence daily commuting routes and times where commuters are encouraged to seek alternative routes. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience,” said the city’s announcement of the closures.

Routes affected include: Ramsey Road from Dalton Avenue to the Interstate 90 overpass; Harrison Avenue from Fourth Street to 15th Street; and Fourth Street from Lunceford Avenue to Best Avenue.

The city anticipates this project could take two to three weeks.
