Dine out, fight AIDS
North Idaho AIDS Coalition (NIAC) invites you to “Dine Out for NIAC” on the following dates and times and each restaurant will donate a percentage back to NIAC to support HIV education and prevention efforts with up-to-date scientifically accurate information about high-risk groups, HIV risks, prevention and transmission in communities in North Idaho.
- Wednesday, Sept. 20 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Cosmic Cowboy Grill, 412 W. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d’Alene. Enjoy healthy, farm-to-table, and gourmet dishes including vegetarian, vegan, paleo and low-carb.
- Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse, 402 W. Neider Ave., Coeur d’Alene. Enjoy hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, made-from-scratch sides, and fresh-baked bread.
- Thursday, Oct. 19 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Cricket’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar, located at 424 E. Sherman Ave., Coeur d’Alene. Enjoy Cricket’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar, fresh oysters, and a vast menu that spans from build-your-own pizzas to steaks and sandwiches.
This series of fundraisers is to raise awareness, remove stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS so that people learn their status earlier, and by doing so reduces HIV transmission.
