Mary Whitney Peak, 62
Sadly, we remember Mary Whitney Peak, owner of “Christmas At The Lake” who lost her inspirational battle with cancer Tuesday evening, Sept. 12, 2017. Mary was active in the community, served as the events committee chair for the Downtown Association and co-founded Dog d’Alene coupling her passion for animals as well as Christmas.
She is survived by her husband, Gregg Peak; sister Judy Whitney of Chicago; daughters Tracy Sandoval of San Diego and Ashley Peak of Indianapolis; along with grandchildren, Nick, Jake and Zoie; and countless friends.
She will be missed dearly by her constant companions at the store, Mika and Jensen, her rescued four-legged children.
Friends and family can visit at the memorial gathering from 4-6 p.m. today, Sept. 15, 2017, at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel and Gathering Center, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, Idaho.
