Chadderdon had 12 tackles, including four tackles-for-loss, in Saturday’s 62-43 victory over Mead. Chadderdon also recorded the most tackles on special teams and scored on a 63-yard pass reception.

Sting Timbers ’04 boys: The Sting defeated the Idaho Inferno Engelson 6-2 on Aug. 31. Noah Janzen scored a hat trick, Alex Reyes had two goals, Evan Lowder had a goal and an assist, and Bryce Allred had two assists.

Sting Timbers FC ’05 boys red: The Sting traveled to Seattle this past weekend for two games to kick off their fall league play in the PSPL.

On Saturday, the Sting lost 3-1 to the ISC Gunners B05A in Issaquah, Wash. Isaac Fritts scored for the Sting, assisted by Cooper Prohaska.

On Sunday, the Sting beat Kent City FC 2-0 in Tukwila, Wash., Landon Lee and Christopher Mongan each scored once, and Drew Hansen and Nate Wyatt had one assist each. Miles Taylor had nine saves in posting the shutout in goal.

The Sting head coach is Mike Thompson, but last weekend Julio Morales filled in and Chloe Teets was assistant coach.
