SEAHAWKS: Count me out
I took down my 12 flag.
That’s right; it went out with yesterday’s trash where it belongs. I can no longer watch and find entertainment from people who show disdain for my country and flag. I feel that any good self-respecting American would do the same.
I don’t criticize people’s right to voice opinions. To the contrary, it is our constitutional right and even duty to do so, but there are ways to accomplish this without dishonoring those who fought and died to preserve that right.
Go march, wave a flag, get a tattoo, cut your hair, let it grow or even light it on fire. I don’t care, it’s your right. But when you disrespect my country and her flag and show contempt for people who gave their lives for her, I’m finished with you and the entire NFL (No Fan League) and their sponsors.
So, go sit on your ungrateful, overpaid, self-righteous posterior and dishonor the country that put it there all you want. My sincere hope is that you do it in an empty stadium and before a blank TV screen. This American will be doing something else on Sundays.
