GOD: One man's testimony

Thought I might touch on God. Oh I know, politics and religion — simply too controversial and divisive, but what the heck. The big question is, whose god is really God?

Now, if you are an atheist, you may want to skip ahead to the next letter — but then again you might want to read on. Let me tell you a tiny bit about my God.

In the beginning, He created the Earth and the heavens. Now I don’t know about you, but to me that’s a big deal! And He gave life to every single thing that breathes. (I do often wonder why He created mosquitoes!) His Word, given to us through the Holy Bible, tells me He knew us before the world’s creation. Wow, so He knows and loves you too, which IS a really good thing! He sent His son Jesus to die on a cross for my sins — imagine that — someone would die for me, so that I could spend eternity in Heaven instead of eternity in hell! Oh yes, He rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of His Father and as a bonus, He gives Christians the Holy Spirit for wisdom and guidance. Just think, we will ALL get to meet Him one day — which could be a very good or a very bad day. The point is — is your god alive or dead? Mine is alive!

P.S. And if your god is dead, what in the world is he good for — besides nothing? (Like a mosquito!). Just wondering.
