Penelope ‘Penny’ Roath, 61

Penny Jo Ellis Roath, 61, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away from cancer Sept. 1, 2017, at the Schneidmiller House (Hospice House) in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Penny dearly loved her family and her best friend, Lucy (her pup). She was surrounded by family at her passing. Penny loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening. She also loved her new home in Hayden.

Penny is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd Roath of the family home in Hayden; son Jason Kemple and Amber of Post Falls, Idaho; daughter Shannon (Roath) Ferguson of Post Falls; father Robert (Bob) Ellis of Hayden; brother Robert Ellis of Chilco, Idaho; her best friend, Lucy; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Penny will be dearly missed by all that met her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Ellis; brother Mike Ellis and her daughter, Michelle Cresswell Roath.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Center of Post Falls or the charity of your choice. Penny you will be missed forever -n- always by Lloyd, Lucy and family.

No services, at the request of Penny. Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens in Coeur d’Alene will be Penny’s final resting place with her mom, Lucille.
