Carolyn T. Sakai, 95

On Aug. 23, 2017, Carolyn T. Sakai, 95, passed away peacefully after a stroke in May. Born on March 6, 1922, in Kealia, Kauai, Hawaii.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda M. Sakai, MD; son-in-law Gavin S. Young, MD; and grandkids Ethan and Mairi Young.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of North Idaho (www.hospiceofnorthidaho.org).

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, Idaho.
