Cd’A Pet Resort to host 10th

anniversary party

Coeur d’Alene Pet Resort, 125 E. Hazel Ave., is celebrating a decade in business with a dog-friendly, luau-themed party from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Dog owners and their pets are invited to attend this free event. Guests dressed in luau attire could win a prize. There will be contests, games, raffles, a photo booth and prizes.

“After 10 years I am still in love with this business. Watching the dogs get socialized is my favorite part. Many come in apprehensive and after a few visits to daycare, they are dragging their owners through the door ready to play with their friends,” said Dawn Kelp, owner of the pet resort. “I couldn’t do it without the love and care that my staff has for our furry friends.”

Operating since September 2007, Coeur d’Alene Pet Resort, with a large outdoor play area, offers overnight boarding and doggy daycare for all size dogs. There is a cat boarding area, too. Grooming and training are available. Paradise Pet Resort in the Spokane Valley is a second location.

For information, contact the pet resort at (208) 667-4606 or by email to cdapet@gmail.com.
