| September 6, 2017 1:00 AM

SPOKANE — Due to the current poor air quality conditions, the Spokane Indians’ home Northwest League baseball playoff opener vs. the Vancouver Canadians on Tuesday night at Avista Stadium was postponed.

Game 1 of the best-of-3 North Division Championship Series was moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, and rescheduled for tonight at 7 p.m. at Nat Bailey Stadium. Although Game 1 will be on the road, the Indians will still be acting as the home team and will have last at-bats.

Games 2 and 3 of the series will also be in Vancouver. Game 2 will be Thursday at 7 p.m. and Game 3, if necessary, is set for Friday, with a time to be determined.
