CAROUSEL: Sorry about that
Here I am to offer a heartfelt apology to the community of those who privately brought the carousel back to life. I agreed too quickly with the previous letter and from my own shallow viewpoint. I could pander to your hearts to understand my reasoning. Someone would and should hand me a violin (I play the cello).
I cannot in the sense of Wednesday’s letter (8/30) offer to make a donation to this funded site because of the very fact that in creating the new “park” venues, the handicapped parking is always the first to be reduced or placed at a distant point. I would have loved to ride something that I could still physically do that offered what I presumed would be a view of the park and lake along with the provision of fresh air, and mark it off my bucket list.
There, I did not choke on eating my words...almost. Bring me a cello!
