SHERIFF: Wages never enough
Is it just me or does it seem every time our fearless city council (Hagadone’s council) votes on a tax increase or pay increase, Ben Wolfinger is never satisfied and wants more pay, again, for his KCSO. The public again and again suffers with low wages here in this town and rent that keeps going up along with the Avista multi-millionaire CEO wanting more. B.S.
Wolfinger better get over his fixation with paying his minions’ lawyer fees and hiring family. What in hades is wrong with that?
Crime (so Snow White) says is down so stop messing with the public on minor offenses and issue a notice to appear. Doesn’t the public have enough? Maybe they should do some real work for once and get what they deserve. These so-called cops think they are entitled to L.A. wages. Go move there; we don’t need you.
P.S.: Bet The Press won’t publish this. We don’t vote liberal.

Editor’s note: The City Council has nothing to do with the sheriff’s office or county employee wages. The sheriff works for the county. His department’s funding comes through the Kootenai County Board of Commissioners.
