PATRIOT: Small boy, big heart

The very cute picture in Tuesday’s paper of 2-year-old Weston Buhl holding his hand over his heart during the National Anthem at the rodeo really highlights what a total jerk Michael Bennett of the Seahawks is for showing such total disrespect for flag and country when he sits out the National Anthem at the beginning of a football game. If Pete Carroll had any guts, he would tell Bennett that every time he sits out the anthem, he can count on keeping his ass planted on the bench for the entire game. Of course we all know that will never happen.

Kudos to Weston’s parents. At 2, Weston is already a better American than Bennett.
