Constance Gale Hamilton, 75

Constance Gale Hamilton, 75, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away on Oct. 24, 2017. She was born on April 3, 1942 in Cove, Ark. to Bennet and Carry (Davis) Cartwright.

Gale grew up in Cove, Ark. and moved to the state of Washington during her youth. Her family settled in Willits, Calif. where she graduated from high school. She continued her education at San Jose State, receiving her degree as a certified public accountant. She was very successful and part-owner of the Crook, Telshow and Edwards CPA firm until her retirement.

Gale was a beautiful lady inside and out. She had a kind, gentle and patient spirit and was loved by all who met her. She married Jerry D. Hamilton on May 21, 1988. They were known for their deep, unconditional love for each other. They loved to travel in their motorhome all over the country, staying weeks in places enjoying the country and each other. She enjoyed hiking, reading a good book and using her “puter” (computer).

She is survived by her spouse, Jerry D. Hamilton of Coeur d’Alene; her son, Richard Blake; daughter, Sharon Sandoval; two grandsons; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; her brother, Percival Edwards and sister-in-law, Pommela Edwards; and seven step-children: Belinda, Deborah, Jerry Jr., Keith, Michael, Caterina and Kirk. She is preceded in death by a grandson and her parents, Bennet and Carry Cartwright.
