Seventh grade

Chargers 46, Lakeland Hawks 44: The turning point of game was a sack-causing fumble by Brodie Waddell that was picked up and returned 60 yards for a touchdown by Varick Meredith. Kyle Bridge also had a first-down completion that sealed the victory for the Chargers. The Chargers had 400 yards of total offense, led by Maddix Maciosek with 120 yards rushing and 1 touchdown. Zach Johnson also had 2 rushing touchdowns on the day and both Varick Meredith and Kyle Bridge added receiving touchdowns on passes from Kolton Mitchell, who also had 80 yards rushing on the day. The Chargers are now 5-0 on the season.

Chargers 39, Packers 7: The previous weekend, the Chargers totaled 487 yards of offense against the Packers. Maddix Maciosek had 125 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns, Zach Johnson had 100 yards rushing and 1 touchdown, combined with 65 yards receiving and another touchdown. Both Kyle Bridge an Judah Lauri added receiving touchdowns as well. The Charger defense held the Packers to under 100 total offense and just 1 score.

Sting Timbers FC ’04 Boys Red: The Sting defeated the Spokane Breakers 04 B 6-0 on Oct. 15. Goals were made by Bryce Allred -2, Kohrt Weber -1, Noah Janzen -1, Zak Wenglikowski -1, Tyler Gasper -1; and Kohrt Weber, Tyler Gasper, Noah Janzen, and Bryce Allred each had one assist. Devyn Ivankovich had the shutout in goal.

This past Saturday, the Sting lost 4-1 to the Idaho Rush 04 Premier. In the second game on Saturday they lost 2-0 to the Boise Nationals Timbers 04.

Sting Timbers FC Girls ’04 Red: The Sting beat the ASE G04 Royal-Santos squad 6-1 on Saturday in Kennewick, Wash. Kayla Dearmin (3), Isabella Lucky (2) and Reagan Cherry scored the goals, while Isabella Lucky, Kayla Dearmin and Shelbie Shriner had assists. The girls then hosted the Hells Canyon FC 04 Skinner group from Lewiston on Sunday and played to a 2-2 tie. Isabella Lucky scored twice, with Kayla Dearmin and Olivia Wyatt assisting.

Sting Timbers Red ’05 girls: The Sting played three games last weekend. On Saturday, they beat IEYSA Valor 1-0. Abella Voigt scored with an assist from Ella Morton.

Later that day, they played the Spokane Foxes and defeated them 5-0. Avery Waddington scored two goals with assists from Jocelyn Dennis and Mira Crawford. Abella Voigt scored with an assist from Avery Waddington. Mira Crawford scored a goal and Elise Frazier scored a goal with the assist from Avery Waddington.

On Sunday, the girls played a friendly with the Sandpoint Strikers and won 3-0. Makenzie Goings scored 2 goals with an assist on one from Abella Voigt. Mira Crawford scored with the assist from Makenzie Goings.

Sting Timbers FC ’07 girls: The Sting played three games last weekend. Goalkeeper Emma Singleton racked up 22 saves for the weekend.
